According to UC Health, an academic healthcare system, Legg will use the new role to help create a formal process of gathering, interpreting and sharing data so that organizational staff can access the right data at the right time to drive the right decisions.

UC Health, the University of Cincinnati\u2019s affiliated health system, is already a leader when it comes to building a data-driven culture, having received a Stage 7 Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model Award from HIMSS Analytics, while its network practices have received Stage 7 Ambulatory Awards.

Legg comes to UC Health from Yale-New Haven Health System, which operates five hospitals and a multispecialty medical group with more than 8,200 medical staff and 25,000 employees, where he served as executive director of reporting and analytics.

At Yale-New Haven Health System, Legg established and led a centralized data and analytics department which supported Yale\u2019s School of Medicine and affiliated health system as well as created an enterprise data governance and prioritization process.
